Meet Kelvin: The Leo Project’s Program Officer
As the newest member of The Leo Project team, Kelvin has jumped right in teaching literacy and numeracy classes. He is also working alongside his namesake (Kelvin, our Director of IT) teaching computer and digital literacy classes. As we expand our footprint within the community and add additional primary and secondary schools to our existing cohort, he is assistant with outreach. In his free time he reads novels, plays chess and tennis, and rides his bicycle. A self-proclaimed terrible dancer and singer, he is happiest playing DJ. He has a “thing” for long movies and speaks five languages, the most recent being Spanish. Born and raised in Nanyuki, he has spent the majority of his career working with NGOs. His past experience has focused on community advocacy, engagement and development. He favors a team environment and enjoys working with people that he can be free with to express his ideas with.
